a week later... a halloween recap!

Halloween night was fun! I got felix to wear a skirt, heard some good music, had some good and some not-so-good drinks, saw a few friends, got a glimpse of what Savitha will look like when she's pregnant, tried for 30 minutes to take a cab in NYC's busiest cab nights and got one!, partied until later than usual, fell asleep on the train on our way home, woke up 2 stops after ours at 4 am, slept until 2 pm the next day...

thanks to Angela and Obi... I'm back!

After a long absence, here I am again, and you can blame 2 people for it: my friend Angela, who suggested last night that if my blog died hers would too, since I'm the one who inspired her to start it. I could probably deal with killing my own blog, but 2 deaths is too much to be responsible for!
The other person is Obama, whose winning last night ended in a riot in the streets of our neighborhood. I would have loved to be there but I was too busy sleeping. I fell asleep watching the results reports, around 10:30 pm. Yes, I'm old!
