more concerts

August is a good month! Felix and I went to see The Shins in Brooklyn last night. The show wasn't mind-blowing but it was nice to see them live and it was the perfect evening to be outdoors. The concert was at the McCarren pool (empty gigantic swimming pool in williamsburg) which is a really cool venue!
I didn't take these photos, I got them from flickr. FYI, mi camera broke, so until I get a new one my postings will be a little more limited :(

bubble wrap

do you -like me- get excited at the view of bubble wrap, and immediately feel the urge to pop the bubbles, and you can't stop, so you keep doing it compulsively until there are no bubbles left?
someone who understands our kind created THIS, for those moments when bubble wrap is nowhere near you. Try it, it's almost as satisfying as the real thing.

cerati in concert

Yesterday, some friends and I stood under the sun for a few hours in a 90 degree weather (32 celcius) and suffered through two hours of reggaeton and terrible DJs, all to see our generation's favorite, Gustavo Cerati, playing in Central Park for free! off course I ran into a bunch of colombian friends.

rojo!

my friends Martica and Cristobal just had a baby! Rojo was born very early on monday, during the hottest week of the year. Here he is, 5 days old.
