cata and ingrid try bubble tea!

cata ospina (my friend from college) is here to see madonna in concert, so yesterday we met for dinner and then felix and I took her and ingrid to try tapioca tea.
it's always so good to see old friends!
they gave us lots of suggestions for our trip to barcelona, for which we're leaving on friday :) I'll have a ton of pics to show when we're back. until then...

I saw this wall the other day and loved it! it's hard to see the details on this pics, but believe me, it's a cool wall!
This weekend was HOT and relaxed. We did a little bit of everything: some partying, some biking, frisbying, dinner with felix's dad and working on a new interesting project I have... will tell more about it when it's ready.

art auction-the crows are gone!

This friday there was an art auction for "emerging artists", so I decided to emerge with some of my stuff. And it was such a success!!!
Remeber the crows I posted earlier? people were fighting for them!
And for those who own my "caperucita" (little red riding hood), that was one of the most wanted items in the auction! see photo of the bidding war and how it was sold for $170

brunchtime

last weekend felt like summer! cata and carlos were still here and we had brunch at Casimir, a french restaurant with an outdoor area. It was nice to have them here, we're going to try to meet in madrid again :)
